Hatton Godat Pantier Hires Senior Project Manager

Tumwater, WA – Marcy Gustafson, PE, has joined Hatton Godat Pantier as a Senior Project Manager.  Marcy has 14 years of experience in the industry which includes project management for public facilities, commercial, industrial, and residential developments throughout Puget Sound.  Her experience also includes storm drainage, sewer and water system design; roadway and highway design; construction cost estimating; preparation of specifications; construction management and quality control.  Marcy has performed plan review services for public agencies and provided expert witness support for various development projects.  She is especially skilled at coordinating and negotiating with public agencies throughout the entitlement and permitting process.

Hatton Godat Pantier Nominated as a Top Place to Work

Hatton Godat Pantier was among the 37 companies selected out of the 81 nominated employers as a top place to work in the South Sound by the Business Examiner. Each company was evaluated by at least 30% of their employees on categories including: integrity, appreciation, equity, gratification, and solidarity. A survey was also issued where employees had objective “agree-disagree” questions and open ended short answers to stimulate real input from those who value their workplace. Hatton Godat Pantier is proud to be listed in the Business Examiner’s Top Place to Work.

Hatton Godat Pantier adds Landscape Architecture Services

Hatton Godat Pantier has added a Planning Division to complement the engineering and surveying services offered. Chris Aldrich, Landscape Architect, David Louthain, Landscape Designer, and Stephen Stewart, CAD Operator, have joined the team to lead the new Planning Division, offering landscape architecture, site planning, and project management services.

Hatton Godat Pantier Hosts NPDES Seminar

June 14, 2005

Steve Hatton and Dan Biles of Hatton Godat Pantier presented current issues, trends and key elements of NPDES Permit Compliance on May 25th, 2005. Topics covered included NPDES procedural issues, coverage under NPDES, technical ramifications including pond size, reports, erosion control measures, and the role of the Certified Erosion Control Specialist.

Join Us at the Living Green Expo

Hatton Godat Pantier is a proud sponsor of the 2005 Living Green and Home Expo. The Expo will feature three homes showcasing energy efficient and environmentally sensitive construction practices, and will run every Saturday and Sunday March 26th through May 1st.

Hatton Godat Pantier Hires Project Coordinator

Sabrena Orr has joined Hatton Godat Pantier as a Assistant Project Manger where her primary role is to help the firm's clients develop their land more efficiently by working closely with the jurisdictions in attaining information, as well as expediting efficient reviews of land use permits and approvals.

Prior to joining Hatton Godat Pantier, Sabrena was employed for fourteen years with the City of Shelton. The most recent position she held was Interim Director of Community and Economic Development. Ms. Orr has extensive experience in planning, land development and project coordination.

Critical Areas Proposal on Table at Luncheon
The Olympian, March 3, 2005

Steve Hatton, president of the Tumwater based engineering company Hatton Godat Pantier will be the featured speaker at the upcoming Thurston County Chamber of Commerce forum Wednesday.

Hatton will discuss the relationship between proposed changes in critical areas ordinances and economic health, transportation, the environment and other community needs.

His firm provides civil engineering and surveying services to developers, architects and property owners.

The luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. at St. Martin's College's Norman Worthington Conference Center in Lacey. The cost is $15 for chamber members with reservations and $17 for all others. The general public is welcome to attend.

Hatton Godat Pantier Principal Named to Thurston County Project Development Task Force
Jeff Pantier has been named the newest member of the Thurston County, WA, Cluster Development Task Force. Pantier, who heads the surveying department for local engineering services firm Hatton Godat Pantier, was appointed to help evaluate newly revised county regulations regarding so-called cluster developments outside designated urban boundaries.

Pantier has been a professional Land Surveyor for 27 years and has been involved with numerous regional land use applications involving planning and design of residential and commercial developments.

Jeff is very knowledgeable regarding the design of local development projects, said Jennifer Hayes, an associate planner for Thurston County Development Services. He has worked on many projects here in the South Sound, and we feel his expertise and professionalism make him a great addition to the task force.

Among the issues task force members will review are development density, environmental compliance and maintaining the character of rural areas adjacent to developments.
